No. vitamins and supplements do not undergo the same rigorous evaluation as other medicine. In fact some sources estimate that up 40-80 % of supplements do not have the mineral or herbs mentioned on their label. Therefore, careful selection is important.

Most importantly they are manufactured in a Certified GMP ( Good Manufacturing Process) facility. In addition proper dosing is essential for efficacy. There are hundreds of dosing regimens for vitamins and supplements. AlloAlts dosing is based on the current clinical data available and commonly prescribed regimens. Finally, AlloAlts are chosen for their lack of harmful additives and nonessential ingredients.

Our food is 20-50% less nutritious than it was 100 years ago. It is extremely difficult to obtain all necessary nutrients in food. In fact, in some cases, it could be detrimental if food is the only source to correct a deficiency. For example, to obtain the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin D a person would have to drink 32 ounces of milk a day. To correct a deficiency it would take 5-10 times that amount. It is more practical and effective to use supplementation.
